As nutrition professionals, creating a relationship with our community is imperative. The ADDA has made a goal to interact as much as possible with the community by providing education, food demos, sound nutrition advice, and much more. Look for us at events throughout the CSRA!
Medical Examiner Articles
ADDA members are featured in Augusta's online journal, the Medical Examiner. Look for the monthly article titled Ask A Dietitian for nutrition advice from dietitians in the CSRA and Don't Lick the Beaters for articles written by local dietetic interns and master's students. If you are interested in submitting an article for the Medical Examiner, please contact Kim Beavers at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Find a Local Dietitian
ADDA wants to help you find the best nutrition information! If we can't provide it ourselves, we will do our best to connect you with someone who can! Please download the following document for a list of some of our local dietitians including ADDA members who specialize in pediatrics, cancer, weight management, diabetes management, and more. Please note, most require a referral from your physician. Looking for something you don't see? Head over to the Contact Us page and we will do what we can to answer your questions!
Participate in our Annual Fundraiser
Each May, the Augusta District Dietetic Association hosts a charity golf tournament in the CSRA. This tournament is the only fundraising event for ADDA. Funds raised from this event are used to support scholarships for dietetic interns and our association’s health promotion activities. Our members do not benefit individually from these funds, but our collective efforts directly impact the profession and the public we serve. Use the Contact Us page to let us know if you are interested in being a golfer, sponsor, volunteer, or making a donation! Check out photos from our 25th annual event!
